Amble Baby Terms of Use
Effective date: October 30, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Amberlee Prince (“we”, “us”) for using Amble Baby. By making an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Amble Baby is
Amble Baby is a place for a nanny and a family to plan, run and share a young child’s day: the day plan, the journal, the daily sendoff and the care card. It’s a planning-and-sharing tool. It isn’t a messaging service, a monitoring tool, a medical service or an emergency service.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to make an account.
- Give us accurate information, and keep your sign-in (your Apple ID, Google account or email) secure. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account is for one person. Don’t share it.
- Tell us at support@amblebaby.com if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Families and roles
- A family has one or more children, and a circle of people: parents or guardians, and a nanny or caregiver.
- Either a parent or a nanny can start a family and invite the others.
- The nanny plans and runs the day, posts to the journal and sends the daily sendoff.
- Parents and guardians read the plan and the journal, react, comment, add notes, suggest changes, and keep the care card up to date. Parents and guardians can remove someone from the circle and can delete the family.
- Only add a child if you’re that child’s parent or guardian, or the parent or guardian has asked you to. Only invite people the family wants in the circle.
- Each family’s information is shared only with the people in its circle.
4. Acceptable use
Please use Amble Baby for what it’s for: caring for a child together. Don’t:
- post anything illegal, hateful, harassing or sexual, or anything that puts a child at risk;
- post photos or information about someone without the right to do so;
- use the app to watch, score or monitor anyone;
- try to get into another family’s information, someone else’s account, or our systems;
- copy, resell, or interfere with the app, or use bots or scrapers on it.
If you see something that worries you, write to support@amblebaby.com.
5. Subscriptions and free trials
- Amble Baby needs a subscription for each family. You can buy one in the app through Apple:
- Family monthly: US$4.99 a month, for one family, with a 3-day free trial.
- Nanny monthly: US$9.99 a month, for up to 5 of the families a nanny cares for, with a 3-day free trial.
- Lifetime: US$49.99, one payment, for one family. Nothing renews.
- These are the US prices. The app shows the price in your own currency before you buy, and it may include tax.
- Apple bills you. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. We never see your card details.
- Free trial: each family gets one free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you’re charged.
- Renewal: monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If the price changes, Apple will tell you first.
- Cancelling: go to Settings › Subscription in the app and tap Manage, or open iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s rules. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t give refunds directly.
- When a subscription ends, today and tonight’s sendoff still work. From the next day the family can read everything but can’t plan or add anything. Nothing is deleted.
6. Your content
- You own what you add: photos, notes, plans, comments and the care card.
- You let us show it to your family. You give us permission to store, copy, resize and display your content so Amble Baby can show it to the people in your family’s circle and keep it in sync. This permission is only for running Amble Baby. It ends when your content is deleted, except for copies that stay in backups for a short time, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- Make sure you have the right to share what you post. For example, ask before sharing a photo of someone else.
- We don’t claim ownership of your content, and we don’t use it for advertising.
7. The care card and emergencies
The care card holds allergies, medication, pediatrician, approved pickup and home address, so they’re one tap away. It isn’t a medical service, and it doesn’t give medical advice.
- In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) straight away.
- Information on the care card is only as good as what the family typed in. Parents and guardians are responsible for keeping it correct and up to date.
- Nothing in Amble Baby, including activity ideas, replaces the judgment of the adult caring for the child. Always supervise children, and follow the family’s instructions and any safety note on an activity.
8. Things outside our control
- Amble Baby is offered “as is”. We work hard to keep it running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that a notification or upload will always arrive on time. Don’t rely on the app for anything urgent.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of Amble Baby. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Amble Baby in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that’s more.
- Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.
9. Ending your use
- You can stop using Amble Baby at any time, and delete your account in Settings. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an Apple subscription: cancel that in Settings › Subscription first.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts a child or anyone else at risk. When we can, we’ll tell you first and explain why.
- If we ever stop offering Amble Baby, we’ll give you notice in the app first.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the effective date at the top. If the change is important, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Amble Baby after that, you agree to the new terms.
11. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
12. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Amble Baby or its content, and has no duty to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries can enforce these terms as a third party. Your use of the App Store is also covered by Apple’s own terms.
